I personally go for a lady with a high amount of positively natured relatives. Going for someone with a large amount of relatives is nice, because (at least in Diplomacy), being related to other lords increases your relations with them on a regular basis. Should I marry the Lady with the highest number of relatives, or with the most powerful/highest renowned? Your relationship with other relatives isn't any more important than your relations with other lords. This guardian is the lady's father, or by lack of father, her brother. Should I make sure I'm friendly with all related lords first or can that be sorted out after?Įvery lady has one guardian whose permission you'll need if you want to marry without severely pissing someone off.
